The bench of Justice Gita Gopi of Gujarat High Court while dealing with matrimonial dispute suggested couples should avoid speaking about family of each other while fighting and also that one of the spouses should try to remain quiet and try to maintain peace.
Justice said “A fight between a husband and wife disrupts peace as both starts speaking at the same time. Either one should keep quiet and try to maintain peace and let the other speak. Couples, when fighting, should avoid speaking anything about the family of the other. This escalates the fights”.
“Whenever there is a fight, ensure you don’t do it in front of anyone, especially your children. They might think this behaviour is normal and would behave in the similar way in future. This will affect their psychology, thus avoid fighting in front of them”.
